    OpenStreetMap Colorado is a local collaboration of people interested in contributing their efforts to create free maps. Our group plans to meet monthly to collect and edit road info and points of interest data to the OSM map of Colorado.  Our Meetup activities include hiking, social mixers and community mapping parties.     Geospatial Amateurs is a monthly meetup to discuss topics around web mapping, geospatial applications and data. We are focused on new generation technologies, not "old school GIS" - as the name suggests, we are not "GIS professionals" :). But all are welcome to discuss and share new ways of developing geospatial applications! We plan to meet monthly in rotating venues around central Denver, have a couple of short presentations, networking time and a fun and informal atmosphere.
